Physics Video

This video is a compilation of short videos showing physical phenomenon that could be analyzed individually using Logger Pro, a great program for high school students!  They can break the video down frame by frame to get the data about the objects.  There is a ton of physics in these seemingly mundane clips!

  1. I really liked the idea of using logger pro to break down the different clips and doing physics calculations and concepts. The movie could have been improved by adding words at the bottom of the screen or a voice over explaining the significance of each clip and what the students were to do with the clips. If this was done, then more students with different learning styles would be reached. Good job on your movie-awesome idea!

  2. I agree with Aarika, I enjoyed the beginning approach, trying to help students to see why physics is 'awesome' - but the end seemed to be lacking closure. Having, including a wrap-up slide would help this.

  5. This is a good idea if it is interactive with Logger Pro. Since I'm not familiar with the program the video was boring and mundane. Maybe you could play some cooler music during the speedometer part that was the most boring part. Good job overall!
